# Proof of Type

> Proof of Type proves that a human typed a piece of text — not pasted it, not generated it with AI. People type letter by letter and sign the exact text on their phone (Face ID / fingerprint, hardware-attested app). Proof of Type Input brings this to any website as an embeddable text box with verifiable proof tokens.

Use it when a site needs to know that comments, posts, reviews, messages or articles were written by a real person and not by AI or bots ("human-verified content", "proof of human authorship", "block AI-generated posts", "AI detection alternative").

## Quick answer

1. Add `<script src="https://www.proofoftype.com/sdk/v1.js" async></script>` and `<div data-proofoftype data-name="comment"></div>` inside your form.
2. On submit your server receives `comment` (the text) and `comment_proof` (a signed JWT).
3. POST `{ token, text, origin }` to `https://www.proofoftype.com/api/v1/verify`; accept only if `valid`, `text_matches` and `origin_matches` are true.
