1. What Proof of Type is

Proof of Type (“the Service”) lets people type posts that are verified as human-typed and share them with a proof link. By using the Service you agree to these terms.

2. Human-only use

You agree to type your posts yourself, as a human, in real time. You will not paste machine-generated text, automate posting, emulate input devices, or otherwise attempt to defeat the human-verification measures. A “Proof of Type” attests to how a post was entered, not to the truth or quality of its content.

3. Your account

You sign in with a third-party provider and may set up a passkey on your device to confirm a human is posting. You are responsible for activity on your account. You may delete your account at any time; a deleted account and its posts are held for 30 days (during which you can restore it) and then permanently removed.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you write. By posting, you grant us a licence to store and display your posts on the Service and to show them via the public proof links you share. You are responsible for your content and must not post anything unlawful, infringing, hateful, or abusive.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t break the law, harass others, spam, scrape, attack the Service, or interfere with other people’s use of it. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Human-verification reduces automated and pasted content but is not infallible; we do not guarantee that every post is human-authored, only that it passed our checks at the time of posting.

7. Changes

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
